| TWIN LAKES In Winter months when the lake is frozen (over 3 inches thick), you may walk on ice, ice skate or even play hockey on the lake. There is a community location for all renters to share: Ice Skates (10 pairs), Snow Shoes (2 pairs), Sleds (10), and hockey sticks (4). TWIN LAKES Snow sleds are in a community area at cabin for your use as well. There are 10 plastic sleds and (2) NEW SledTUBES (fast and fun). The property where cabin is located, is the highest natural point in SE Wisconsin. This hill provides a great place to snow sled. However, it is dangerous, and you assume all liability if you use these sleds. It is one of the best sledding hills I have ever enjoyed in my life. However, if this hill scares you, then there is a smaller hill in Silver Lake Park. SILVER LAKE PARK Take Route F (past Sentry) and then turns into Route B (towards Silver Lake). ¼ mile before the Dairy Queen is a state park, Silver Lake Park, which is on the south side of street. You will see the busy sled hill inside park. |

WILMOT SKI RESORT Wilmot Ski Resort is only 10 minutes from cabin. www.wilmotmountain.com. One of the largest local ski areas for SE Wisconsin. Ski or snow board and lighted at night. After a fun day on the hill, check out The Stage Stop Tavern and Restaurant. The Stage Stop is the oldest tavern & restaurant in SE Wisconsin. Plus it has a unique museum on the 2nd and 3rd floors - it is a must see. GRAND GENEVA - HILLTOP MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT Hilltop Mountain is located at the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, WI. It is 10 miles northwest of Twin Lakes, just east of downtown Lake Geneva. Grand Geneva used to be owned by Hugh Hefner and was one of the only Midwest playboy bunny ranches. JERRY'S MARINE Interlaken Resort - Lake Geneva WI - 262.275.5222 From Dec 26th until there is no snow on ground, Jerry's is your place to rent snowmobiles. Prices are $37 for 30 minutes or $57 per 60 minutes. 20+ years old to rent. Cash only and helmet required. Only one person per snowmobile. Riding is restricted to 2 mile square mile radius. Take Highway 50 west to Interlaken Resort. Jerry's is about 15 minutes from cabin. |
